Fledly

Fledly vs Appfigures

Appfigures tells you how your apps are doing. Fledly tells you what is already working for newcomers on the App Store, and what you could build next. Here is an honest side-by-side, including where Appfigures is the better choice.

Disclosure: we make Fledly. Appfigures prices and features are from its public pricing page and third-party listings, checked on October 28, 2026. Prices change, so confirm on appfigures.com before you buy.

What Appfigures does better

Your own numbers. Appfigures connects to App Store Connect and Google Play and puts downloads, revenue, subscriptions, payments and ad analytics next to your rankings and reviews. Fledly doesn't read your sales at all. If your main question is "how are my apps doing?", Appfigures is the more complete answer.

Google Play. If you ship on Android, Appfigures covers both stores. Fledly is iOS only.

Reviews. Appfigures lets you read and reply to reviews and sends alerts for new ones. Fledly summarises competitors' complaints inside idea cards, but it isn't a review-management tool.

History and depth. Appfigures has years of history and hourly rank updates on its higher plans. Fledly's own history starts in October 2026.

What Fledly does differently

It starts from the market, not your app. Every day Fledly collects the US Top Grossing charts, overall and for every category, keeps the apps that launched in the last 24 months and aren't from big publishers, and groups them into app concepts. A concept that several unrelated young apps already earn with is stronger evidence than any brainstorm.

Every idea gets a score you can check. The score is built from four parts: proof (estimated revenue), repeat (how many different developers made it work), pull (new ratings per month) and window (how recently the newest earner launched), adjusted for how buildable it is for one developer and for signs of paid-ad growth. We publish the method in how to validate an iOS app idea and the weights in the best app ideas for indie iOS developers.

Revenue ranges on every plan. Fledly estimates monthly revenue from Top Grossing rank with a published model and a factor-of-three range. It's rough, and we say so in how much apps make at each rank, but it's on the free plan, not a $600-a-month add-on.

Keyword tracking at an indie price. Pro includes 500 tracked keywords for $9 a month. Appfigures reaches 500 keywords on Optimize at $149.99 a month, which also includes far more of your own analytics.

Appfigures plans allow 5 apps and charge $1.99 for each extra app. Fledly Pro covers 5 apps and Studio 20 apps with 3 team seats.

Fledly counts a tracked keyword as one search term in one country, for example "gym log" in the US. Other tools may count keywords differently, so compare limits with that in mind.

The comparison isn't one to one: an Appfigures plan pays for your own analytics and reviews, which Fledly doesn't do. If you only need keyword tracking and market evidence, Fledly is cheaper. If you need your own sales dashboard, Appfigures' Connect plan at $7.99–9.99 is the right starting point regardless.

Using both

A common setup for a solo developer:

  1. Appfigures Starter or Connect for your own downloads, revenue and reviews.
  2. Fledly Free or Pro to decide what to build next, check the young competitors in that niche, and track the keywords you target.

Fledly's MCP server also lets an AI assistant such as Claude query young earners, idea scores and your tracked keywords in a conversation. See the MCP setup page.

Frequently asked questions

Is Fledly an Appfigures alternative?

For keyword tracking and market research on iOS, yes. For your own sales, downloads, subscriptions and review replies, no: Fledly doesn't connect to App Store Connect. Many developers use Appfigures for their own numbers and Fledly for idea research.

Which is cheaper, Fledly or Appfigures?

For keyword tracking, Fledly: Pro is $9 a month or $79 a year for 500 keywords, while Appfigures' 500-keyword plan (Optimize) is $149.99 a month. For your own analytics, Appfigures' Connect plan at $9.99 a month ($7.99 billed yearly) has no Fledly equivalent.

Does Appfigures show app revenue estimates?

Appfigures lists global download estimates on its Grow plan and download and revenue estimates inside Keyword Inspector on Boost. Fledly shows revenue ranges for apps on the Top Grossing charts on every plan, estimated from chart rank.

Does Fledly support Google Play?

No. Fledly covers the Apple App Store only. Appfigures covers both stores.
