Fledly

Appfigures alternatives for indie iOS developers

People leave Appfigures for one of three reasons: keyword tracking gets expensive past 25 keywords, market estimates sit on the $599 plan, or they want to research new app ideas rather than track existing apps. Here is what to use for each.

Disclosure: we make Fledly. Prices are from each vendor's public pages or listings, checked on October 28, 2026.

Why people look for an Appfigures alternative

Appfigures' keyword limits rise with its plans: 25 keywords on Connect ($9.99 a month), 100 on Monitor ($44.99), 500 on Optimize ($149.99), 1,000 on Boost ($299.99) and 2,500 on Grow ($599.99). Market-wide download estimates come with Grow. If keyword tracking or market research is what you need most, you pay for a lot of analytics you may not use.

For cheaper keyword tracking

  • Fledly Pro tracks 500 keywords across 5 apps for $9 a month, with Apple Ads popularity where available and daily ranks in 16 storefronts. The Free plan tracks 15. Fledly vs Appfigures.
  • Astro has no keyword cap for $108 a year, but it's a Mac app and annual only. Fledly vs Astro.
  • Sonar covers Google Play and all countries with 2,500 keywords for $29 a month. Fledly vs Sonar.

For app ideas and other apps' revenue

Appfigures is built around apps you already have. If you're deciding what to build, Fledly starts from the market instead: it keeps apps under 24 months old that already appear on the US Top Grossing charts, groups them into concepts, and scores each concept on proof, repeat, pull and window, with every part shown. Revenue ranges are on every plan. How the scoring works.

For your own numbers, for free

App Store Connect already shows your downloads, proceeds, impressions and conversion by source, and Apple Ads shows search popularity for any keyword. If you only need your own numbers and can live without a dashboard, those are free. Our guide to Apple Ads search popularity explains the scores.
